Apply for Apple Card on your iPhone

  1. Open the Wallet app and tap the add button .
  2. Select Apple Card, then tap Continue.
  3. Complete your application.
  4. Review and agree to the Apple Card Terms & Conditions.
  5. Accept your offered credit limit and APR.3

After you accept your offer, Apple Card is added to the Wallet app and you can request a titanium Apple Card.

To apply on your iPad, open the Settings app, scroll down and tap Wallet & Apple Pay, tap Add Card, then select Apple Card.

If your application is approved

You have up to 30 days to accept your offer. If you accept your offer and add Apple Card to your eligible iPhone or iPad, you can:

  • Use Apple Card to make purchases anywhere Mastercard is accepted and get unlimited Daily Cash.
  • Manage your account in the Wallet app or from your Apple Card web account to make or schedule payments, download PDF statements, and view your balance.
  • Set Apple Card as your default payment card for Apple Pay, the App Store, Apple Music, and other Apple services.
  • If you have Apple Card Monthly Installments, you can view your plan in the Wallet app or online.

See if you're eligible

  • Be 18 years or older, depending on where you live.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or a lawful resident with a valid, physical U.S. address that's not a P.O. Box. You can also use a military address.
  • If you apply on a compatible device that you own, make sure it has the latest version of iOS, watchOS, or macOS.
  • Be signed in on your device with your Apple ID and use two-factor authentication.

  • You might need to verify your identity with a Driver License or State-issued photo ID.4

  2. If you apply online, use a supported browser. To access and use all Apple Card features, you need to add Apple Card to an eligible iPhone or iPad that you own with the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. Then, you can manage your Apple Card on your device and make purchases anywhere Mastercard is accepted. If you don't add Apple Card to an iPhone or iPad that you own, you can only use your Apple Line of Credit for eligible purchases online and in-store at Apple.
  3. Variable APRs range from 10.99 percent to 21.99 percent based on creditworthiness. Rates as of April 1, 2020.
  4. If your photo ID won't scan properly, contact Apple Support.

Here's what you need to use Apple Pay in supported regions:

  • Your eligible device1
  • The latest version of iOS, watchOS, or macOS
  • An Apple ID signed in to iCloud2

If you want to use Apple Pay with more than one device, you need to add your card to each device. To get started, choose your device below. After you set up Apple Pay on iPhone or Apple Watch, you can use your cards on the web in Safari3 on some Mac models, while signed in to iCloud. On Apple Watch Series 3 and later, and iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus and later, you can add up to 12 cards on a device. On earlier models, you can add up to eight cards on a device.

Your Apple Card4 is automatically added to Wallet and Safari AutoFill on the device that you used apply for Apple Card. You can also add Apple Card on your iPad, Apple Watch, or Mac model with Touch ID.

In the United States, you can also send and receive money with friends and family using Apple Pay and use Apple Cash on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch.5 And you can make payments to participating businesses in Business Chat on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

In certain countries and regions, you can also add store cards, boarding passes, movie tickets, coupons, rewards cards, and student ID cards to Wallet. Get help adding your card to Wallet.

Add a card on your iPhone

  1. Go to Wallet and tap .
  2. Follow the steps to add a new card. Watch the demo to see how it works. If you're asked to add the card that you use with your Apple ID, cards on other devices, or cards that you’ve recently removed, choose them, then enter the card security codes. You might be required to download an app from your bank or card issuer to add a card to Wallet. In China mainland, you might be required to create or update a 6-digit passcode.
  3. Tap Next. Your bank or card issuer will verify your information and decide if you can use your card with Apple Pay. If your bank or issuer needs more information to verify your card, they'll ask you for it. When you have the information, go back to Wallet and tap your card.
  4. After your bank or issuer verifies your card, tap Next. Then start using Apple Pay.

Add a card on your Mac

  1. Make sure that you sign in to iCloud on all your devices. On your iOS device, you need to set up Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode. On your Apple Watch, you need to set up a passcode. If you sign out of iCloud or remove your passcode, all credit, debit, prepaid, transit, and student ID card will be removed from that device.
  2. If you're less than 13 years old, Apple Pay isn't available and you can't add a card in the Wallet app. Age varies by country or region.
  3. In China mainland, you can use Apple Pay on the web in Safari only on compatible iPhone and iPad models using iOS 11.2 or later. In the Netherlands, you can use Apple Pay on the web only on a compatible iPhone or iPad.
  4. Apple Card is issued by Goldman Sachs Bank USA, Salt Lake City Branch. Apple Card is available only in the United States.
  5. Sending and receiving money with Apple Pay and the Apple Cash card are services provided by Green Dot Bank, Member FDIC. Apple Cash is available only in the United States. If you're under 18 years old, your family organizer can set up Apple Cash for you as part of Apple Cash Family. Then, you can send and receive money with Apple Pay.   6. In Italy, Maestro cards cannot be added to iPad or Mac. In Australia, you can't add eftpos cards to your iPad or Mac model with Touch ID. In the Netherlands, you can add Maestro cards to all compatible devices except Mac.
